Festival of Colors

The “Festival of Colors” is an enormous and very vibrant annual celebration in India (that’s actually taking place right about now-ish, March 18th) which involves the tossing, spreading, and smearing of vividly colorful powders, leaving festival-goers covered head-to-toe in lively hues. This jacket incorporates those bright colors as well as intricate geometric embroidery inspired by the folk art aesthetic from that part of the world. You can’t NOT feel joyous in this jacket – it’s like wearing a party!
